A pair of mallards rest along a misty riverbank, rendered with the careful linework of classical natural history illustration. The drake's emerald head catches the light in fine, precise detail, while the hen and surrounding reeds settle into warm browns and soft forest green. Behind them, a pale mist blurs the far shore into cream and dusty blue, giving the whole scene a hushed, early-morning quiet. It reads as elegant rather than rustic, making it a fitting choice for a living room or office wall where you want something contemplative and refined rather than overtly sporting.”
