A framed painting of a white and brown dog holding a pheasant in its mouth, set outdoors in a grassy area, hangs on a white wooden wall.

Collection: Vintage Hunting Art Prints | Framed Sporting Wall Decor

The sporting picture earns its place by being specific. A dog locked on point, a line laid across a tailing pool, a marsh going pink at first light — these are pictures for people who have actually stood in that cold.

The collection runs across the field sports: pointers and setters working cover, upland and waterfowl scenes, fly-fishing water, and the quieter end of it — a hung game bag, a pair of boots, a stretch of river doing nothing in particular. Tones stay muted and warm, which is why they hang well in rooms with leather, tweed and timber rather than fighting them.

Printed on archival matte fine-art paper and framed in Kentucky, then shipped ready to hang. Available from 5x7 up to 24x36 inches, unframed or framed in solid oak — black, walnut, white or natural — or slim metal.

Questions buyers ask

What goes well in a cabin or lodge?

Larger landscapes at 24x18 or 24x36 carry a big wall. For a narrow hall or a stair, a run of three smaller prints at 11x14 works better than one of anything.

Do these suit a gift for a hunter or angler?

They are among the most-gifted pieces in the archive. If you are unsure of the quarry, a dog-at-work scene is the safest choice — it reads right to almost any sportsman.
