Collection: Vintage Fox Art Prints | Framed Woodland Animal Wall Decor

The fox is the one woodland animal that reads as characterful rather than decorative. There is usually something knowing in the face, and that is what makes these prints good company in a room people actually sit in.

Red foxes in bracken and snow, hares and rabbits, the occasional badger or owl at dusk — painted in the close, russet-and-moss palette of the old natural-history plates. They are gentler than the sporting pictures and lighter than the big landscapes, which makes them useful in nurseries, snugs, bedrooms and the small awkward walls most houses have too many of.

Printed on archival matte fine-art paper and framed in Kentucky, then shipped ready to hang. Available from 5x7 up to 24x36 inches, unframed or framed in solid oak — black, walnut, white or natural — or slim metal.

Questions buyers ask

Are these suitable for a child's room?

Several are. The fox and rabbit subjects are warm rather than fierce, and an 11x14 in natural oak suits a nursery well.

What hangs well with a fox print?

Other woodland animals at the same size, in matching frames. A row of three small prints works better here than one large one.

Which frame colour?

Natural and white oak keep it light. Walnut makes it warmer and more traditional.
